Thank you for visiting the Iowa Peace Officers Legislative Committee site. I became involved with the IACP&PO at the very beginning of my career and am proud to have served the membership for three years now in various capacities. Since the summer of 2005 I have been a legislative committee member, working to make sure the interests of Peace Officers statewide are being addressed. During the summer of 2008 I was chosen to chair the committee and was ratified at the 2009 training conference and again at the 2011 Conference in Sioux City.

As long as the association is committed to being active in the legislature, we will strive to provide you with a well-heard and reasoned voice. I have been a Des Moines Police Officer for six  years, spending the entirety of that time on the streets as a patrol officer on midnights. I encourage you to contact me as your peer with your concerns whatever they may be so we may continue to represent Law Enforcement statewide as best we can.
