There will be a Combat Pistol Competition outside of Vinton, at a private range, on Sunday, May 20th, at 13:00.  This range is owned by a friend of mine, Pat Ferguson, who recently built this range and this will be his first competition. 

I have seen the range and it is first class.  The shooting area is similar to a baseball diamond, with a level packed lime surface.  There are moving targets, stationary targets, barricades, pop machines, electrical service, and a range structure.

The cost will be $30, with $10 going to the prize pool.  They will be paying 1st-3rd places.  It will be a 50 shot course.  Cal. requirement, no smaller than a 9MM and no larger than a 45ACP.
